I have been practicing the Emotion Code since 2009. It came into my life at a critical time for both myself and my family, and I was blessed to have the gift of this work come easily to me. I practiced diligently and worked regularly on friends and family as a form of service, and felt much joy in that service. Last year, with the support of my husband, I enrolled in formal training in order to be able to work as an Emotion Code practitioner on a professional level. The time I was spending to help others was beginning to take from my family. We decided to pursue this as an occupation to help support our needs. Working closely with mentors, attending seminars, and after hours of studying and testing, I achieved certification status and am now able to practice officially.
A crash course in the Emotion Code
The modality of healing called the Emotion Code is based on the truth that sometimes the negative emotions we experience can become trapped. When that happens, these emotions can and do cause all manner of dis-ease, both physical and emotional. Releasing trapped emotions can relieve pain, correct imbalances, and greatly improve our quality of life. To the right are some basic explanations and definitions of the various conditions that are commonly found within the Emotion Code work.
My friend, The key to working the Emotion Code is intention, or more precisely, faith. It is a work that is spiritual. The truths that sometimes seem to be hidden mysteries are actually available to us all, because our bodies know what is amiss, what we need to be rid of, and even what will serve us best. It is crucial to remember that all healing has but one true source, and He is the Creator of our world. Thanks be to God for the incredible tender mercy of this knowledge. I am privileged to work in the Emotion Code with you.
Thank you!
Warmly,
Janae Monson
Trapped Emotions—Normally, emotions are felt and then processed immediately. Sometimes, however, emotional energy is too powerful, and may become “trapped,” or lodged, in the body. These trapped emotions distort normal energy fields, causing imbalance. Imbalances are found in our organs, our glands, and our chakras. Releasing trapped emotions allows balance to be restored. Heart Wall—Most of us have a heart wall, and some of us have “hidden” heart walls, as well. Heart walls are comprised of trapped emotions that lodge in the area of the heart and act to create an energetic wall intended to protect the heart from future pain. An entirely subconscious self-preservation creation, the heart wall actually serves to depress us, detach or disconnect us from others, and lessen our ability to give and receive love. We get rid of heart walls by identifying and removing one emotion at a time. Inherited Emotions-These are emotions that are received at the moment of conception from mother or father. They may go back several generations. Imagine being affected by trapped emotions that aren’t even your own! It’s fascinating to consider an even deeper meaning to the phrase “tradition of the fathers.” Resonance—A resonance is not exactly the same as a trapped emotion. If you were to strike a bell with a hammer, it would “ring” for a while. If you came back some time later, you might not hear the ringing anymore, but if you put a more precise instrument up to the bell, you might detect that it was still resonating from the blow you gave it. This is similar to how a resonance operates in the body. The intense emotion leaves the body ‘ringing’ with the vibrational energy of the emotion. Despair Anchor—This is a subconscious thought that acts as an anchor in our lives, in the literal sense that it keeps us from progressing or moving forward. It is rarely more than 3-4 words. Chakras—Chakras are centers of energy that emanate from the spine. These various energy fields play a vital role in the overall balance and function of our bodies, both physically and emotionally. See the Chakras document for a more detailed explanation of the specific chakras and what they govern. Our chakras can become imbalanced by trapped emotions.
My clients include strangers that I have never met, as well as dear friends and loved ones. I feel a special responsibility to help all I can. Because of that, I would never dream of not working with someone due to an inability to pay. If monetary compensation is not an option, I am willing to work on a trade system— whatever service it may be. Babysitting, cooking, be creative! I’m flexible. If payment is feasible for a client’s circumstances, my rates are as follows: $65/session $275/package of 5 sessions
My story is sacred to me, but I would like to share it in order to illustrate what a gift The Emotion Code has been to me, and what a true healer Janae has been in my life.
I had severe pain in my left heel for several years. I had gone to chiropractors and an orthopedic with no results.
I didn't think much of the Emotion Code at first. But, when Janae offered to work on my one year-‐old (by proxy) to get rid of the rash on her face. . . . .
